The project consisted of a desktop and mobile Facebook APP. The APP drove users to submit their profile pictures, which would create a UPS shield mosaic. The UPS logo would be displayed on the side of an F1 car at the Chinese Grand Prix. This gave the user a rare chance to have their face on the side of a F1 car.
My Role & Execution
I was tasked to design the mobile and desktop APP that would allow users to go through a simple process of adding their own Facebook profile picture. They would also have the option of inviting friends to submit their picture in order to gain exposure to the competition. The layout was designed to be similar on the desktop as it would be on the mobile. The app had to be designed to coincide with the company’s strict logo policy and guidelines, with the addition of being able to display text in different languages.
The outcome of the final project was very successful and there was an influx of competition entries due to sharing on social media. The UPS logo, with the profiles of the applicants, would be displayed on the side of a F1 car at the Chinese Grand Prix.
